Life and Love in Canada: Make Up Help!
I’m not sure how many of my followers are make up aficionados, but I figure it wouldn’t hurt to make a post anyway.
I’m running out of my favourite neutral colours, and my favourite highlights that I had gotten from my stint working as a makeup seller girl. I love make up, but I’m essentially…
I am a huge Urban Decay whore, personally. I own three Urban Decay palettes, and would probably own more if I didn’t cut myself off, haha. I am also MAJORLY in love with MAC, but uh… I find collecting their stuff hard, because I also get overwhelmed with the choices :(
Based on what you described as your needs/wants, I would recommend the first Naked palette over the second. I mean, I have and personally LOVE both, but the first Naked palette has a better mix of mattes and shimmers. It is also super versatile in the fact that you can create both day and evening looks. Even my MOTHER (someone who used to be die-hard loyal to Mary Kay) owns and loves the Naked palette, so haha. In my opinion, it is not overrated.
Also, the shadows are super pigmented, and come with a shadow primer potion to give them better staying power. Can’t go wrong!
But yeah, if you ever find that you have extra income, I would also recommend the Naked 2 palette, haha. It’s not that much different than the first one, but different enough that you can mix it up a bit.

I have the original Naked pallet and ADORE it. I was bummed that the 2nd one came out about a month after I finally got the original, but now that I look at the 2nd one I’m glad I got the original 1st. I HIGHLY suggest it~ Either the original or 2nd~
